Drive Backup 8.0 server edition
NEW VERSION! read more at emailprofessor.com
This is not your grandma's old backup utility.
We sell DriveBackup SE to many satisfied
network administrators. They use
it to backup their server in regard to disaster recovery.
Your garden variety Windows backup does a good job preventing
you from losing documents and other files. But if a
server dies there is more to it. All the users, all
the rights, all the support programs have to be reentered
before the user data can be restored. That process can
take days. The good news is that Drive backup can get
you back in business within hours. It is available in
3 versions and unless you use it on a server you can
buy it for under $100.00
Drive Backup is ideal for systems that are in
use 24 hours. There is no need to take the web server
off-line. You do not need to stop the mail server. DriveBackup
creates an image while the system is running.. Using
Drive BackupProfessional you can write elaborate scripts
and minimize downtime or you can get Drive Backup 7.0
Server Edition. It can backup entire drives even while
they are in use.
Drive
Backup reduces risks of data damage or loss,
system crash or downtime, saving precious time, efforts
and costs. It provides you with a wide range of basic
and advanced backup and restore functions, features
and abilities required to manage server-based networks.
Drive Backup Server Edition is a substantially different
product.
It allows you to create exact disk images for complete
backup and protects your system and corporate data in
any disaster case. Drive Backup provides you with the
most comprehensive and cost effective backup, restore
and recovery capabilities for servers and workstations.
A new intuitive and convenient interface simplifies
management of backup procedures offering greater flexibility
to IT professionals and system administrators.
When the day comes and you need to
restore your system Drive backup takes it all the
way from bare metal to a full restore. There is no need
to load your operating system. You don't need to format
the new drive. Simply boot with the DriveBackup recovery
CD and restore the drives or partitions.

What our tester has to say...
This is software that can save your life
or as least your job. It is built for the professional
IT person and can backup a server in a fortune 500 company
or your advanced home system you spent so many hours
building. It's a bare metal solution. That means you
can start from scratch and you will be ready to go once
the restore completed. The program can also be used
to clone hard drives. For an extra safety measure DriveBackup
can create backup capsules not assessable by an operating
system. I recommend it to any and every system admin
or to advanced users that have a lot to loose if their
system goes down.
The download demo is not a fully functioning
program. it only lets you "play" with the
features but you can't apply them = you can't backup
any data.
